Position Overview: 

The Marketing & Trade Show Coordinator will support Marketing and Sales teams with needs including but not limited to: sales and marketing materials, trade show coordination and execution, marketing event support, team meetings, etc.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Sales Team Support
    • Presentation Support
      • Responsible for updating, uploading, and maintaining broker selling presentations on external broker communication site by working with Brand Managers and Category Management on quarterly basis to obtain new information
    • Execute process for broker and account item samples
    • Maintain inventory and order new selling premiums for brokers and Sales team
  • Marketing Team Support
    • Plan quarterly Marketing reviews for Sales team, keep broker presentations updated with new Marketing material
    • Maintain inventory and order new selling premiums for Marketing team
    • Place Marketing team item orders
    • Work with Brand team in the purchase order and invoice processes
    • Support Brand teams at marketing events and activations
  • Trade Show Support - Execute ALC presence at Sweets and Snacks and NACS trade shows which includes:
    • Partner with the marketing and sales functions to understand needs
    • Coordinate and schedule shipping of all Marketing materials, product for displays, tasting samples, etc.
    • Assist in getting registrations complete and any travel/hotel logistics for show attendees
    • Responsible for set up of booth and working with logistics companies for install and dismantle of booth.
  • Maintain frequent, clear and open communication within and among departments regarding projects, insights, and/or company issues
  • Responsible for Food Safety as related to the position

 

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree and 2 to 3 years of experience in trade show responsibilities. Prior Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience preferred

  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, digital image and video software, and Web-based programs
  • Up to 15% travel to trade shows, marketing events, and local trips to printers or material vendors.

  • Demonstrate a high level of independence and self motivation; take initiative and show resourcefulness while working in a flexible team environment.
  • Computer proficient with ability to comprehend new systems.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively as a team player
